Eclipse + Mylyn + SourceForge

Eclipse's Mylyn is brilliant.  It ranks up there with folksonomies and wikis - a tool that adapts to the user, rather than the user having to adapt to the tool.

Mylyn is about mental noise reduction.  It uses a task-focused interface to highlight what you need and put away what you don't need, then switch to something else, then remember where you left off when you come back.   For those of us with a goldfish's short-term memory, it is a godsend.

I found "Using Sourceforge with Mylyn" and had to give it a try.  The last little line that someone added was the trick (SourceForge is updating the service, use the 'tracker2' in the URLs if you dare...).  Now I can follow all of metasimian's bugs directly from Eclipse.
